LITTLE TIDES GYMNASTICS PROGRAM
In this parent-child class, infants and toddlers will focus on developing body awareness, motor skills, and coordination. Toddlers will explore the world around them in a safe, fun environment with hands on help from a parent to encourage early listening, social and physical skills. This class will have a more exploratory style structure to allow each child to go at their own pace. An adult is required to participate with their child at all times. Formerly Twinkling Stars.
In this parent-child class, toddlers will focus on developing body awareness, motor skills, balance, and coordination. Toddlers will be introduced to basic gymnastics skills (i.e., rolls, positions, jumps) and equipment in a safe, fun environment with hands on help from a parent to encourage listening and ensure safety. An adult is required to participate with their child at all times. Formerly Rising Stars.
This class is similar to the rising stars class, but is for those children who are ready to participate in an independent class without hands-on help from a parent. This class will focus on developing body awareness, motor skills, balance, and coordination. Children will be introduced to basic gymnastics skills (i.e., rolls, positions, jumps) and equipment in a safe and fun environment. Formerly Shooting Stars.
In this class for beginners, children will work rolls, handstands, and cartwheel progressions, basic bars and balance/dance skills, and strength and flexibility. This class will continue to focus on developing body awareness, motor skills, and coordination. Emphasis is on safety and fun. Formerly Super Stars.
In this combo dance and gymnastics class, children will spend half of the class working on basic gymnastics skills (i.e., rolls, positions, jumps) and the other half will be spent learning dance. Formerly Twirling Stars
